Have you ever had a spiritual experience when you were very sick with a high fever?

Yes, when I was about 5 years old. I remember waking up and seeing 2 white translucent figures by my bed. I was not scared at all, almost comforted. I believe to this day that they were my guardian angels.

When I was about 5 years old I was very sick, with a Strep throat or something. My fever went very high very fast. My Mom said I was running and playing one minute and very sick the next. I had some kind of convulsions. I was in my bed before they could get me to the nearest ER. I was floating above my bed. I could see my Mom and Dad and dog next to the bed. I was not really conscious for a few minutes but could see them from above. I had never heard of such a thing so I do not think I could have made it up from something I heard. I really did not say anything for a long time, until I was in my teens and had heard of other people with "out of body" experiences. I did not see the tunnel or the light or dead relatives, etc. I do not think I was that close to death. It could have been a dream, but it did not feel like a dream.

When I am awake with a fever I am miserable and do not remember much -but when I finally sleep the dreams are amazing.

I have only been aware of that comforting spirit when I am hurt from within my spirit. They feel what you feel especially when it's tune into the spiritual world.

Personally, I can say no, I haven't. My family was traveling in the Caribbean when I was about 12, and I contracted malaria. With a high fever for two weeks and lots of rest, I recovered, only to be told I'd be carrying the sickness with me for 20 years. I saw lots of crazy, impossible things when I was sick (like my dad killing my mom, who was still alive and well and whom I told all about it and cried because I was convinced it was the truth... even though I was talking to her right there and she was holding me).

Lots of people have, but these are easily dismissed by those who don't believe because of the fact that they don't believe it. Delirium from a high fever also does have lots of interesting side effects.

Oh, and... I'm never drinking ginger tea again as long as I live.

I am sure of this answer! Angels do comfort the sick. If you are ill your body is more prone to recognize their presence also. I am positive that this was probably what you were sensing. There are also different types of angels (archangels, choral angels, comforters, etc. )

It is nice to know we are never alone!

I've never had any but you're on to something.It's not improbable that someone would mistake a delirious hallucination or dream for a paranormal event.Good point!

mm I don't know for sure. When I was young, I used to get sick a lot. Also, I would hear someone teasing me, saying stuff like.. "you're going to die." or something to that effect. And I would feel something very angry around me. But I was sick, I was probably just imagining things.
