  3. Life is quite a paranormal thing...

  4. Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.

During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.

    Your brother don

  5. It amazes me at how quickly some dismiss anything as being unreal or fake! Lets take UFOs. They have been reported by pilots, astronauts, police, firemen, doctors, lawyers, you name the profession. Now lets look at pilots and astronauts. Most pilots are ex military. They have been through rigorous training and psych exams. You don't just hop in a commercial airline and start flying. In the case of astronauts, they are the best of the best! Years and years of physical and psych training. They are culled and chosen because of their abilities. Now there are so many accounts of them reporting UFOs and yet, they are considered to be hallucinating when they report one? You trust these men and women to fly you all over the world yet if they say they have witnessed a UFO they are seeing things? Can you people see the stupidity in this line of thinking?

UFOs are not paranormal, they are a scientific anomaly. It is a closed mind that just says, there is no such thing. Those who do this are the ones who need a little bit more education and a little bit more open mind training. They would never make it as real scientists because they would not have the imagination to find the answers to anything. These skeptics as they call themselves need to find a cave to crawl into to.

  6. Well I remember living in a house that was haunted in upstate NY in a colonial town, and the lady that owned the house told us from the start that it had two ghosts (both were here family) and gave us a quick history brief of the house. Well the first time I saw something wierd was when I was at the bottom of the stairs and the owner was at the top, and we were talking about her grandfather, and then all of a sudden her hair just puffed out as if someone was running their fingers through it from underneath. Then one night my girlfriend at the time was over (the house was very warm all over that night), and she went and sat down in a chair, and I came over to her, and when I got to her, the air around her was very cold. It was just in that spot for about three minutes, and then the cold air was gone all of a sudden.  That's just two of the things that I have seen.

  7. I'm fourteen now, and I sometimes hear footsteps at night, or feel my bed shake.  When I was really little, I used to see ghosts at night.  They were two-dimensional, and resembled the guys from Pacman, but they were white and malevolent.  They made a groaning sound.  I saw them most nights, too.  I think it might have just been my weird imagination, but I'm not sure.

Once, when I was eleven or twelve, I woke up, and saw a strange, white figure standing by my bed.  I was tired, and I thought it was just my mom, but my mom opened the door a second later, and the thing disappeared.

I'm not sure if this is a paranormal experience, but once, I dreamed I was walking around the neighborhood in my pajamas.  I ran into my mother, and she informed me that I was dreaming.  She said, "It's 6:07 in the morning.  You forgot to set your alarm.  Wake up and set it, or you'll be late for school."

Right after that, I woke up, and it was actually 5:07, but I really had forgotten to set my alarm.

My town has an annual ghost walk, because it's supposedly haunted.  We were taking a tour of a hotel, and as soon as I walked into a certain room, I felt a sudden, strong feeling of panic.  A picture flashed in my mind, and it was of the same room a few hundred years.  It was kind of creepy, but I can't quite put my finger on it.  Then, the man that was giving us the tour explained that a lady had been stabbed a few feet from where we were standing.

  8. I have had many paranormal experiences, and I am fixing to write a book on it. I will tell you about this one event in 1991. I was sleeping and I woke up needing to go, there was a bright lite outside. I looked and saw a window where a cow pasture is. A light was on inside the craft. Three people were in there 2 were looking at my house, another was walking around in there. I woke my husband, told him to look, he glanced at the window and grabbed his glasses, from the night stand. We met at the foot of the bed, I was watching, them watch me. I went to the bathroom which was less then 20 feet away. I called out Jerry, what are they doing? he said the turned the interior light off and turned the outside lights on, then came a series of wow's and I had a very excited husband trying to tell me how they popped up and stopped on a dime, made a sideways drop to the south, and zoomed off to the north like lightning. He was actually very afraid.

He clung to me the rest of the night, and never wanted to talk about it again.

  9. Yes I have , but the jury is still out as to whether or not I can substantiate it. While living in an RV after hurricane Charlie in Florida my wife saw someone walking up the driveway towards the house and when I looked out the window I saw an image of a man walking up the driveway then the image walked into the wall of the house and disappeared! I tried to recreate the incident but was unable to do so.

  10. YES, AS A CHILD I CAME FACE TO FACE WITH A GRAY CREATURE  I REMEMBER HOW BIG AND BLACK HIS EYES WERE. HE APPEARED TO BE WEARING A SKIN TIGHT SILVER OUTFIT WITH SYMBOLS AROUND THE COLLAR. I THINK I STARTLED HIM AS MUCH AS HE DID ME . HIS EYES SEEMED TO TWITCH. I RAN AWAY . NO ONE EVER BELIEVED ME.YEARS LATER ON A FISHING TRIP WITH FRIENDS .WE WERE INSIDE A CABIN.IT WAS SO DARK OUT SIDE YOU COULD NOT SEE YOUR HAND BEFORE YOUR FACE.SUDDENLY A VERY BRIGHT LIGHT ILLUMINATED THE CABIN WE WERE IN.NO ONE WANTED TO GO OUT AND INVESTIGATE.THE ONLY THING THAT WE ALL REMEMBER IS THE LIGHT ,BUT THE NEXT MORNING WE WERE NOT SITTING IN THE SAME CHAIRS WERE SITTING IN.WE HAD BEEN PLAYING CARDS.ALSO LATER ON IN MY 40S I MOVED TO SNOWFLAKE ARIZONA. I MET TRAVIS WALTON. HIS DESCRIPTION OF THE CREATURE I SAW AT CHILD HOOD WAS EXACTALLY LIKE MINE!

  11. nope never have

  12. Any experience I've had wasn't definite enough to logically dismiss it. But one time really sticks out in my memory, far above any other.

I was staying in my first apartment, I lived there with a roommate, a friend friend from high school. I went to bed one night and in a weird "half-dream-half-awake" state I experienced this. It was early morning, sun peeking through the blinds and I was lying on my side facing the wall. I then felt a terrifying presence and very slowly turned to my opposite side to face the opposite wall. Standing beside (I should say towering beside) me was a three dimensional pitch black ... creature. There were no eyes or mouth as we have, but there were gaping holes (not see through) where the eyes and mouth would be. It outstretched its hand and I mine, and at the moment our hands would have touched, I fully awoke, eyelids darting open.

When I woke, I was facing the same wall and the room was lighted by the sun exactly as it had been. The feeling of fear, not just scared, but an overwhelming fear, was so thick upon me that I could not bring myself to turn towards the other side of my room for at least half an hour.

That was about in Ohio in Jan. of 2003, and its a bit embarrasing to confess, but I still have trouble some nights sleeping without some type of nightlight. The tv is the best, the low volume helps distract my thoughts. It was truly the most terrifying experience in my life. I pray that I never see whatever it was again.

  13. Yes. That's why I'm on the Paranormal Section a lot. I don't want to be fooled again..or used by them etc.

I read Saunter's answer. Hope she comes to visit us more often. I understand the part about her husband not wanting to talk about it . Some things you just can't talk about. At least she said "people"..so if it's true..maybe they're not too weird. (If they're a lot different from us..they probably think we're the weird looking ones.)Seems like they were afraid of her too. I'm not saying I totally believe what Saunter said...I'm just saying she got my attention. lol I hope it's not true.Who knows..maybe the U.S. or some other country is "practicing" before going into outer space in one of these "space ships"...could be this generation's version of Orval & Wilbur Wright!

  14. Actually, no.  They're not weird or paranormal. The are quite very normal to me!  As are "ghosts", "spirits, " yada, yada.

  15. How is Aliens and UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) classified as being Paranormal? The term was coined to describe events concerning spirits/ ghosts and poltergeist activity...

And Para-Normal actually means 'Not-Normal' - 'An experience which is not ordinary' - so aren't ALL paranormal experiences 'WEIRD'?

  16. I have yet to experience anything that has required the existence of anything paranormal.
