well, a little silly to ask what it was, since it is not possible to describe it, but maybe you find some pointing words, that can give a taste that leaves at least a tiny impression of what it was...?

thank you.

  1. Absolutely.

It's that experience that your mind can't begin to wrap itself around, and I have found myself speechless on some occasions. You always remember it, at least until it fades to the back of your mind, and you find yourself trying to describe it with words that just don't fit.

  2. The way she comes to me,

and how she whispers my name,

    the Serpent begins to rise,

we forget everything of other places,

and ride the waves of energy,

    our hands caress each other,

    bodies moving with and against,

    tongues exploring sweet skin,

    savoring the taste of s*x,

looking into the eyes of ecstasy,

    bodies intertwined pulsing,

    minds clear now seeing,

    good and bad forgotten,

    words bring us higher,

    the real beauty is seen,

    soft animal sounds made,

we arrive at the center of ourselves,

    we two have become one,

one must go into the true marriage,

there is no other way to arrive except,

    Lovingly Thoroughly Passionately

  3. All the time. In the wee hours of the morning when everything is clear and new and the bull c**p of the day has not yet descended upon me I look as the world through my eyes as if looking out over the landscape on a high peak. Freedom speaks to me as clearly as a living person next to me and nothing separates me from the eternal.

Then I flush, wash my hands, and go back to bed for another two hours, (lol).

There are no words to describe but it happens in the early morning upon waking.

  4. i was in a horrible roll over car accident last may, and it was so hard to describe what i was thinking when we were rolling (3-4 rolls). it was so terrifying.

also, finding out that i'm pregnant. i have this intense love already, for someone i don't even know yet. it's hard to describe.

  5. Super-famous haiku by Basho:

    Furu ike ya

    kawazu tobikomu

    mizu no oto

Has numerous translations. Here's one by D.T. Suzuki:

    Into the ancient pond

    A frog jumps

    Water’s sound!

If it is so hard to relate the resonance of a frog jumping into a pond and so easy to see so many different meanings in the words (from silence to eternity to subjectivity and so on), how difficult it must be to fully describe ANY human experience. But words may be used descriptively, artistically and in many other ways. To describe is merely to attempt to paint a word picture. So many different pairs of eyes to see multifold meaning. A single experience may be described in so many ways. Words that bring up memory cues for one person may invoke totally different sensations in another person. Basho's frog seems to some to counterpoint the silence of the pond; to others it is the eternal sound of every frog and points out the interface between natural flow and our perception of it. What do we think Basho meant? The beauty of a good haiku is that description mostly takes place in images and suggestive stimulation of the reader's thought. In Zen terms, the words are the fingers but we are meant to look beyond them, to the Moon.

  6. Yes, and they are experiences that are so personal and supernatural to me that I can't describe them because no one would believe me.

    P.S. I love your name.

  7. Every genuine experience that is devoid of prejudice and preconceived notions is beyond words, Words are inadequate to capture reality in its totality. Only a non-verbal, non rational, mind can experience very concretely the truth but can not be be put that in words. All my Peak Experiences characterized by joy, merging with the whole, with everything that exist, are all really beyond words!

  8. Yes... and I am still having it... its called life !!

Please dont even start to ask me to describe it. LOL

I am having fun though :-)

  9. I find it impossible to describe the experience of loving a person who is an alcoholic. It is heartbreaking to see someone you love lay intoxicated, to try to reach them, to get through... Especially when this person is handsome, intelligent, and has a dynamic personality. It is just the worst experience imaginable. But bring a rainbow of feelings and challenges.

Any sign of recover brings a whole new ray of emotions.

The experience cannot be written or put into words.

It is deep, confusing, hurtful, sad, has a impact that says bang!

Yet because of the love it is compassionate, caring, thankful.

It is challenging, rewarding, takes comittment.

Test your charcter, patience, loyality, resolve.

Challenges you intelligence, as to what to do, think, say.

Timeing, when is enough, when is to much?

To try to fantom, why? to understand?

    Mind blowing!
