  1. I have not personally had an out of bidy experience...but I have read some very compelling articles of people who have had near death experiences who can vividly describe happenings around them that they would have had no idea of without having a out of body experience. Very interesting.

  2. is not that difficult to have an OBE,however i think fear,

and anxiety are some of the things that won't let you have the

OBE, i had felt as equal as in a normal dream state, how did i dit it,it is kind of an involuntary act it just happen, but you can learn one of the various techniques for this,so ,for your benefit ,i'm going to give you a link, enjoy!!!!

  3. Yes - the first time I saw Immortal Beloved with Gary Oldman as Beethoven. The part where he is reminiscing about his childhood, and the music is playing, I went into something of a trance and felt as if I was in another place physically - my body no longer had the sensation of tactile being; it felt as if I was a child again.

  4. 1) I woke up and got out of bed

    2) I jumped down a flight of stairs

    3) Felt like I was floating

    4) I don't know because I was sleeping prior to doing it - it wasn't something I did consciously

  5. Yes.

It felt like a dream, But somehow realistic in a way. I went to go see a friend who i had a feeling was feeling very down, and needed a shoulder to cry on. And this friend of mine live's 2 floor's up from me, So i went on and somehow sub-consiously (sp?) walked to his place, let myself in, and went to his bedroom to find him sitting up lying awake. He was kind of confused how i knew, But i talked to him. And i completely lost track of time. But i woke up the next morning in my own bed, and later that day i asked my friend if i went to his house that night, and he told me yes. But i really didn't remember much unless i thought hard, and reflected back. And i thought it was just a dream to.

How did i do it? I guess thinking so much about that one person got me into doing it.

  6. left my body one time, didn't care for it, just hovered over my body

  7. Most out of body experiences [if not all} occur during sleep. Some people [people who believe in lucid dreaming] believe certain people leave their bodies while sleeping and fly around. If you've ever dreamed of flying you maybe have left your body. My lover's spirit likes to sleep on top of his body and watch me sleep. I've caught him.

  8. yes i did..only once..I've tried to do it again...but didn't know how i did it in the first place.

I was sleeping in my bed...laying on my back(i guess it works better this way...so I've heard)..and Before I fell asleep..I was sorta meditating...trying to bring white light into me..than later on I was actually floating out of my body...around the sky...different places...than I started to go under ground..deep within the ground(earths core)..and I got scared...and I floated instantly back into my body...my heart was racing..and I was stunned...than I talked myself out of being scared if it ever happened  again...but it hasn't...but I keep trying...i want to experience it again....

  9. yes, I have; many times.

    Where...

I once went to visit my dad in prison. Another time to my brothers apt. And another to my in laws. As I know I've been to other places but the reason I don't know where is becuz I can't remember. My dad, brother, and mother in law told me they saw me there.

    feels...

When it begins you feel light; weightless.

When you wake, at times you feel very weak.

    how...

I have no idea. I can't control it. The only one I willed to go to was to visit my dad. He was very sick and I willed myself to go visit him at his bed side.

  10. Yes, I have had one experience and still today I cannot believe that it happened even though I know it is true.  I was sober and drug-free when this happened.  I was 17 at the time and was in the backseat between 2 large guys and all of a sudden as we were coming up to a nasty curve, the car started acting up and it would not slow down even with the driver standing on the clutch and doing everything he could get it to stop or at least slow down.  Just as we got to that curve, The 3 guys in the front screamed to jump from the car as the engine was racing badly and it was slowed down to 40, all it took was for me to hear that engine, the guys sreaming and I was in the middle like I said with these 2 other large dudes and I made it over them and I am the one who opened the door and I jumped out of the car and then I saw others jumping out as well so I know it was not a joke on me.  Well, I know I hit the pavement pretty hard and just started rolling down this road lane and I looked up at one point and I saw myself jumping out of that car and I was rolling at a good rate then also. I don't know how far I rolled or how fast I was going, but still today I do not understand how I saw myself jump out and I was already down the road.  I had on thank goodness a thick jacket and all I remember is me smelling like burning rubber.  That is as close as I know what an out of body experience is and it happened after the fact as I am rolling down that road.  I know I hurt the next day and that I have not forgotten the smell of the burnig rubber.

  11. No, I personally haven't. Out of Body Experiences (OBEs) are thought to be particularly vivid dreams, or perhaps instances of lucid dreaming. There is no evidence that would support the notion that your consciousness can detach from your body and float around. If OBEs were real, it would be easy to set up an experiment to demonstrate it, but this has not happened yet.

There is a good account of a famous magician having an "OBE" type experience, though, and I've included the link below. It is an excerpt from the book "Lives Of The Psychics", by Fred M. Frohock. You might have to scroll a bit to get to the part about the OBE, but the whole thing is a good read.

  12. Most every night when I go to sleep; where I go depends on what needs to be done. It's not so much that I'm aware when I'm out that I remember when I come back.

Generally, I just tell myself before I go to bed that I want to be aware and/or remember when I'm out and what I'm doing.
