  1. I am just like you I love TAPS and Paranormal State as well as all the other shows. I have experienced the paranormal in my own home. While I was in the Navy, my husband had bought the home we live in now before knowing what had happened in it. We now know that there has been at least 5 deaths in this house and 1 about 100 feet away. The main death was the wife of the previous owner. The husband had died in the basement years before and then the wife's 2 sisters came to live with her as well as her mom. The mom died first of natural causes, then the 2 sisters one of a stoke and one of a heart attack. Then the wife was left alone since there was no children. The previous neighbor used to look in on her but when he went on vacation for 2 weeks she had died and was not found until he returned. Her 2 large great dane dogs had partially consumed the body as well as eating 4 cats! They had dragged the body from the kitchen to the master bedroom and their was blood thru 4 rooms! Since her passing alot of stange things have happend. We have seen a large dark form on our porch, shadows in the basement, electrical appliances running without anyone near them, the list goes on and on. All I know is that I am moving and very happy about it. My children have also described a man in their bedroom as well as shadows and my children are very small and were never told about this house. Again I am really happy to be out of here!

  2. It just happened a few days ago I was lazing in bed and got up because i could not sleep when i herd two little girls giggling then at the foot of my bed where two twins i asked them how they got in but all the said was lets play and started singing ring around the rosie and when they got to ashes ashes their faces turned blackish spots like the boubonic plauge they where wearing old fashon dresses and u could hear a man say u little bratz playing while u have a sickness while lets take care of u and u hear gun shots and th little girls stand up covered in blood and walk away bleeding.

  3.   I have seen and heard spirits. I have had precognitive dreams.

I have had mediums tell me info they had no possible (physical) means of obtaining.I have had mediums tell me complete BS.

I have two children who see spirits. THey accept it as normal as seeing a tree, but do not discuss it with potential scoffers.

I have participated in ghost investigations in St Augustine FL ,one of the most haunted cities in the US

  4. no, cant say I have

  5. When I was growing up in Tampa Florida we lived in a haunted house. I was pretty young but I remember hearing a humming almost like a music box kind of sound down the long hallway every night. It wasn't scary it was kind of soothing actually.  A few other things happened in that house but that is what sticks in my memory the most. It isn't unusual for children to see spirits because they are more open to it, they don't really understand yet that it's something unusual. To them it's just another person who comes to visit. If my daughter were to see any, I would support her I would never accuse her of making it up the last thing you would want to do is stifle their curiousity about it. I think it is a wonderful ability that they possess for one reason or another.

  6. my grandson ocassionally sees a little girl in their new house. The first time he was so scared. After a few times, my daughter sense the spirit behind her and said loudly go away you don't belong her anymore, don't come back, go away."

Two weeks now and the little girl hasn't visited again We told my grandson that there was no need to be afraid and if he wanted to talk to her it was ok and if he ever got scared he should judt tell her to go away.

My depearted son sets off my alarm when it isn't set. Uauslly right when I need it.

  7. When I was young we had poltergeist.  They hid things, moved things.  I once saw a little plate rise up in the air and drop slowly to the ground without a sound.  They would touch us and you could hear them walk up and down the stairs and slam doors, turn lights on and off.  I set my clothes out for school one morning, and when I went to get dressed they were gone...poof.  I wore something else, but when I got home, there they were laying on my bed where I had left them in the first place.  This went on and on.

  8. If my child said he saw ghosts, I would think he was playing. I dont believe in ghosts.

  9. Actually i have had a few sightings and one personal experience. i saw a woman who appeared to be a slave and i have seen a glowing face near the wall and my siste saw the loght as well, i have seen a little boy sitting at the end of my bed when i awoke from my sleep annd i have seen orbs. i saw all of this in one home that i just recently moved out of and am happy i did.Ohhh, nd i also have waken up with cuts on my body. it was like a new cut came every day. But it only lasted for about a week. Hope my stories are fascinating to you in some way. =]

  10. Children are typically more open to seeing ghosts, and so they are going to have a higher likelihood of seeing them. In some cases, this is clearly their imagination, but in others, I'm not so sure.

In 15 years of paranormal investigation, I've found evidence of many things that I could not explain. I've also had 3 direct experiences with ghosts, one of which I didn't realize was a ghost.

In general, the ghosts do no harm at all. There is no reason to believe that they might start any time soon. In short, though they're rather unsettling, there's honestly nothing to worry about. Therefore, if you see a ghost, expect to be startled and creeped out for a while, but rest assured that there's no actual threat to you or your child. As a father of 4, I've worried about this from time to time.

However, if there is a threat (the ghost wakes your child up regularly, there are welts or bruises on people in the home, etc.), then I would suggest calling in a real paranormal investigator. Though I'm not a member of TAPS, I've included a link to them in order to more easily track down a group relatively close to you (since their list is one of the most convenient on the web).

  11. I have experienced lots. Loud voices when noone else was there, no tv or radio on. Hear and smell horses when there was no horse around.

  12. I love those shows too, and I have experiences with the paranormal alot. It doesn't feel like a big deal to me anymore, its just part of my life. I have had some very scarey experiences, but most of the time, it doesn't scare me at all. I lived in one place where the resident ghost was a real joker, in another where a mentally handicapped man that had died, was looking for his mother who had moved away. Just about everyplace I live seems to be haunted, course that could be because I am a sensitive, lol. My daughter also has this gift. When a child is small and claims to see a ghost, it could be the real thing, or it could simply be imagination. I would carefully question you kid, but don't make a big deal of it unless it becomes a problem. If u make a big deal out of it, u could make your kid fearful of what he/she sees, and u don't want that. If its imagination, he/she will grow out of it, and often, as a child gets older, they usually seem to loose their ability to see ghosts, usually because society teaches that only crazy ppl see things, or its not real. A lucky few develope a stronger ability as they grow and mature, like I did.
