  1. We once lived in a haunted house and at night time you could hear chains dragging across the attic floor. The basement had a small room that was only big enough for a rocking chair to fit in it and if you opened the door the rocking chair would start rocking all by itself. Our dog would not go into the basement or attic and when we would carry her to either room as soon as we put her down she would fly out of the room as fast as she could run. There was one room in the house that stayed ice cold summer and winter but the strangest thing was all of a sudden things started appearing in my room. Very antique things like hair barettes, jewelry box, old fashioned ribbons, that kind of stuff. The kind so old it could not be bought in a department store. Every night they left me something and then I met my husband to be and was packing up my things and one day all the things they had brought me just disappeared, I never saw them again. When we first moved into the house I found a diary all written in shorthand, I could read shorthand so I started reading the diary. Then it got to the part where the women were having gentlemen callers (the women were 2 spinsters who never married). When I put the diary on my nightstand that night after reading about the gentlemen callers the diary disappeared. I never saw it again. People have since bought it and made apartment houses out of it. My sister went to check on one of the apartments in it and told the owner she used to live there as a teen and out of the blue he asked her"was it haunted then too?" So I guess it still is. If it ever comes up for sale I would love to buy it and see if those ladies still remember me.

  2. thats the ONLY stuff that ever happens to me.

Gues I dont understand the universe.

  3. When i was growing up, i remember this strange presence in my families garage.

At first i thought it was just me. Everytime i had to go in their at night i got the willies. Thats where we had lots of storage and laundry and ironing board, etc.

After some time i found out that everyone in my family had the creeps in there.

My father had an old car, like from the 1920's that he had traded from a friend.

Nobody realized that the feelings came after the car, because they were subtle at first.

But when my dad got bored with the car and moved onto his next fad, the whole house felt lifted, safer.

My other experience was just a couple of years ago. My job sometimes involves me spending evenings at a funeral home. One night after a service their,  i was closing up for the night.

I walked into a room and walked to the other side to turn off a table lamp. After i turned it off i turned around and a chari about 6 feet away from me suddenly turned to face me. Not a lot, just about 2  inches. But this was not the kind of chair that turned 2 inches on its own.

After that, if i had to close up, i left that room on.

  4. No.  Actually everything has an explanation.  Sometimes we see things we really didn't see.  My brother in-law swore someone would pull his feet at night while in bed.  Thought it was ghosts.  Actually it was simple muscle spasms.  Couldn't convince him of that for years.  Finally it started happening all the time.  When he went to the doc; he was told it's just muscle spasms.  He had a deficiency of some kind.

Once I was in a QUOTE haunted house.  Didn't believe in ghosts, but while sitting on the toilet, a scream came from behind me - through the wall.  At first it was distant, but it quickly came upon the back of my neck.  It was just the toilet valve creaking open to fill the tank.  NO GHOSTS.

    :)

  5. i used to go the the grave yard a lot to calm myself down. apparently spirits can follow you out. that  night i woke up in the middle of the night (i ALWAYS sleep straight thoguh) and i felt like there were a bunch of people beside my bed all very angry at me, i couldnt see anythign but i swear i could feel it (or the engergy?) it just freaked me out so much i started crying and having a mini panic attack until i uncontrolably started appologizing to them and promising that i wouldnt go back into the graveyard un less i had a really valid reason. it happened the next or third night again. after more appologies if finally stoped.

  6. well, this house I am in now-my mother use to live in it,she babysat her nephew but he refused to be alone anywhere or more specifically he would not sleep in a room here.

Anyways,I live here now and I wanted to take a picture of my daughter and I-so we took a test picture and came up with some pics that actually have human shape-weird I know but that led me to look at all my photos I took in this house and I found several more.

There was no one in the house while we took that pic.So it was kinda freaky.

  7. I used to work 3rd shift at a cookie factory, so one day a took a nap before work.  I dreamt that I was at some factory working.  My supervisor comes up to me and hands me a newborn baby and tells me that someone left it in the bathroom and that I should take the baby to the hospital.

I woke up immediately, and had that on my mind.  I even wrote it on paper figuring that, since I love movies, I could write a script someday.

I arrive to work, and as I'm waiting in the break area to start my shift, one of my coworkers comes up to us and says, "You guys here what happened 1st shift?  Some girl went into the bathroom and aborted her baby."

I don't know who it was, or the exact details.  All I know is that I had just had a dream, less than an hour before, about a baby left in the bathroom, in some factory I was working at.

There was another occassion, when I worked at a Mexican restaurant.  All of us used to joke around that there was a ghost in the building, supposedly because after we closed some people have heard steps or doors move.  So one day one waitress and myself were just standing by our computers, close to the emergency door.  The restaurant was empty; I think we had just opened or were just done with the lunch rush.  As we stand there talking that emergency door opens.  Not only that, but that door usually closes if we don't hold it, and this time it opened and stayed open.  No one was there to open, and it can't be open from outside; it's just plain on the outside.
