You are referring perhaps to globs of ricotta cheese on white pizza.  Yum.  Potatoes on Pizza is a not so hot idea.  Now baked sweet potatoes, there's another story.

yes. i went to this resturant named unos,they had a pizza made out of mash potatoes and chedder cheese. it was very good

pizza is bad enough for you but to load it with waaayyy more carbs and calories is gross...

even better is pizza crust topped with buttered egg noodles then mashed potatoes, then sauteed onions and cheddar cheese

oh yeah, around here (Pittsburgh) it is known as a pirogi pizza

I put thin slices of peeled potato on the top of my pizza all the time.

Yes i have and it is delicious!!!!

my aunts makes it great, she puts mashed potatoes, bacon, onions and olive or canola oil. but I'm not totally sure on the ingredients though....and she puts it on thin crust pizza.
