My baby is 8 months and will puke everytime i try to give him oral tylenol. So nurses advised me use 80mg suppositories. Hes been running a fever since yesterday (if u look at my last question theres a lot of info about how hes feelin)he only pukes to taste of med.

I just wanna know im not the only one that had to give there infant supppository for FeVER and if baby was ok after.

  1. During a nappy-change or after a bath (when you can put him over your lap) are the best times.

You may have to hold your finger over his butt for a few minutes to ensure he doesn't expel it!

  2. my mum did to me, when I was little...

  3. Yes, I had to with my son. It's uncomfortable but he will be fine. And once the meds start to work he will feel much better. Do it as quickly as you can, you may need someone else to help hold him down. It works so much better than oral when in your situation. Trust me your frustration is about to end! Good luck!
