  1. no i haven't but one day I hope that I will have a thoroughbred in the winners circle

  2. Hopefully one day I can know that feeling. I'm anticipating the day that I'm standing in the winner's circle at Churchill Downs on derby day with that big, strong chestnut colt that just won that famous blanket of roses...what? I know it sounds extreme right now, but hey, it'll happen someday.

  3. yes a good few times and all of them memorable- i suppose the most memorable was standing next to my father, who owned a horse called Holt Place ,a horse that i paid £1000 at doncaster sales,3 years before,in the winners spot at Cheltenham ,the starting price was 50-1 on the book and 135-1 on the tote,we won over £100,000 and the tote at cheltenham had to pay us after the 3rd race(this was the 1st) as they did not have enough cash at that time.the horse had been very poorly ,overcome a major operation, fought back to fitness and beat a large field of hurdlers.I could go on but i will just say that all of them were experiences that last a lifetime.

  4. No, but by golly that would be one of life's most exciting moments!

  5. I've not had my photo taken with a winning horse, but I have dozens of photos of me in the Winners Enclosure - I've presented numerous trophies to winning owners.

  6. I was the one at the edge of the picture crying and rolling on the ground. Just kidding. No, I haven't. I ride and train western pleasure horses, but I wanted to respond just to be on the page with someone who might have had that moment of glory! Congrats to you!

  7. not yet but watch this space

  8. I haven't, but a friend of mine has on a few occasions. She used to be friends with Rick Porter, owner of Fox Hill Farms.

I forget exactly which horses she was in there for, but I know it was at Philly Park.

  9. I never have, but my dad has a photo album full of win pictures, some from when he was a jockey, and some from when he was the trainer. They were all quarter horses, though.

  10. I have.  Actually I've been in several win pictures.  I work with Thoroughbreds and Quarter horses.  The best horse was a Quarter horse filly named Nana's Nitemare.  I have all her win pictures.  Two of those pictures being stakes wins.
