I haven't the slightest clue

Or inclination

Yet some of this is part true

Part imagination

I was snatched away from sleep

Ripped and torn from a dream

Reverb echoed from the deep

Like a haunting theme

Reaching a plateau

As if some crook has made a scheme

My brain opens it's throat

Yes I have, you hear them in the sound of your own flesh being ripped from your bones in conscious moments.  Sometimes you can save a life in the process of granting credibility that you can also hear with your eyes.  Like your poem except for the "as if some crook has made a scheme" line.  No power in that one and it really detracts from the rest of it.

I relate to your poem, Semper Fi, it stirs the deeps inside me of times past when the only sign of my suffering was the silent scream in my mind. The adult in charge of my existence was the perpetrator of terrible pain that lead to silent screaming in hopeless despair, since to cry aloud would lead to physical repercussions deepening my suffering.

Someday I hope to be able to write poetry...

Something has happened this summer. The imagery in poetry has soared to a new level. It is as if something clicked in the collective mind of a group of poets and they are sharing their energy and talents.

I am especially amazed and thrilled at their new interpretations of poetic expression and at their recreation of contemporary poetry.

I was like "wow", but then I saw that everyone else was like "wow" too, but I'll not say "wow".  Instead, I'll say ***WOW***.  Absolutely fabulous.  I love it...so creative and rich in imagery.  It's all great, but the second stanza could stand alone and still be great.

I do agree with everyone.  You have reached a pinnacle in your writing skills.  It is time for you to do this full time.  You are a true, born, full blooded poet and this is a perfect example.  Each phrase led to another that you had to read in quick secession because of the suspense and fear.  An excellent job.  Once again you've outdone the best.
