Have you ever heard of a miscarriage like this?

This year, my teacher has a miscarriage (like in January or sumthin). The baby died because it was detatched from the umbilical cord. Has this ever happened to you or do you know anybody that had that happen? Just wondering! Thanx

I am surprised that a teacher at school would be sharing something this intimate with students.

A baby doesn't detach from the umbilical cord, what may have happened is the placenta may have detached from the uterine wall.

yes last year my best friend went the whole 9months then it happened on her due date.it is sad
