Have you ever heard of geauga lake? are you sad it shut down?

it was a amusment park/water park and the owners decided to tear down the amusment part. now it is just wildwater kingdom. i am very sad and considering if i will have the same amount of fun at cedarpoint

Cedar Point is much better than Geauga Lake was.

If you've never been to Cedar Point it's a great place, especially if you like roller coasters. However, it lacks the carnival atmosphere that Geauga Lake had because it is so much bigger. The lines for the major rides are longer and that makes it hard to do everything you may want to in one day.

Yes I am sad that they shut GL down and sold off all the rides.

i went to geauga lake back in the mid 90's so no, i am not sad that it shut down.  i don't remember it being all that fun, to be honest with you.

I live close to Cedar Point, so many other amusement parks just weren't as fun because I am so used to Cedar Point.  I have been to Geauga Lake, but I was little when I went...the only thing I really remember is my brother almost drowning while swimming and going to Sea World...that tells you how long it has been!  Anyways, I think you will really enjoy Cedar Point...I know I do!
