Have you ever heard of the dale jr. division of the navy?

they just interviewed junior before his qualifying run for tonight, and he was hilarious once again...

it was pointed out that both he and i believe keselowski are wearing and/or carrying the "navy dale jr division logo" on them. supposedly, someone can go down, enlist in the navy in the dale jr. division, and go through basic training with 88 other junior fans. of course, they'll all get split up once basic is done, depending upon their specialties and where the navy wants them.

even funnier was the interviewer asking about how the dale division related to junior nation. junior started to answer, then the interviewer tried to explain his question, then junior just said "we're both all confused..." and laughed. good interview.

that's a cool promotion for the armed forces if you ask me. i'd say what they need is to have a "rowdy" division as well, and they can train with "war games" held between the two ;-)

what do you think about the dale division? would you join?

  1. yup its 88 strong a big rise from the 8 of them last year

  2. it was a neat interview and yes, i would join..think the idea of Jr and Rowdy would be a great promotional "war games" idea and  certainly fans would have a BLAST!!!!!!!!!

"Can ya hear me now"..wow this site would be lit up..lol

btw...how u come up with such great questions???

    Thanks for the answer....appreciate it

  3. wow, i didnt know that. pretty awesome.

  4. I don't think the Marines would want anything to do with rowdee

They respect others, and are disciplined

    Something rowdee hasn't learned yet

  5. Sounds like somebody has a real creative mind in either the PR division or the recruiters office!  What a great idea...you could make friends for life.  Yeah, they should create a Rowdy division too.

    Go Jr.>>>>

  6. "Junior Nation" is somewhat of an army unto itself, so I guess it makes sense.

Good idea #18! the Rowdy Army, where do I enlist?

  7. I haven't heard of that til today either but that's pretty cool and I love your idea of "rowdy" division and "Jr" division training with "war games" There would probally be alot of people joining!

  8. They know a powerful recruiting tool when they see one. I hadn't heard of it till today's qualifying.

  9. Actually, It's not a division, it's a "Company."  When I went through "boot" at Great Lakes, I was in the "Cardinal Company."  We were "sponsored" by the St. Louis Cardinals.  There was a Milwaukee Brewers Company, and a Cleveland Indians Company while I was there also.  Oddly enough, even though we were in/near Chicago, there was no Chicago Cubs Company.  If they'd had something like that when I went through boot, I would have requested it, instead of the Cards (which I am a fan of anyway).
