Have you ever heard of the term brookcism? This is what my dentist have diagnose?

I am not sure if it is the right spelling but that what he says. What is the cause? Do you know its remedy. At times my teeth hurts a lot especially when I wake up in the morning.

  1. It is actually spelt as Bruxism and is commonly known as Tooth or teeth grinding... Some of the causes are stress, anger, anxiety frustration etc for more info on it go to

  2. It's actually bruxism, and it means teeth grinding.  You probably grind your teeth while sleeping which causes the pain when you wake.

  3. You dentist was a terrible speller.

    If the problem is serious, I'm surprised he or she didn't give you further advice about wearing shields over your teeth at night, which help to mitigate against the problems of bruxism.

    Perhaps he isn't a very good dentist either.
