Optic Nerve Hypoplasia. my 3 yo son has had it since 6 motnhs of age. it is when the optic nerves are not fully developed during pregnancy. just curious if ne one has ever heard of it or know someone who has it and how they are doing.

  1. Optic nerve hypoplacia is a condition where the optic nerves have not fully developed. It is a very rare condition and is difficult to diagnose in the children of 6months or three years! It has to be assessed by a Paediatric Ophthalmologist only. You may please consult him immediately for proper diagnosis, necessary investigations, and advice.
