Have you ever heard of this law????????

There's supposedly a law in California where you are not allowed to live in a shed like this http://www.tuffshed.com/img/products/icon_storagebuilding.jpg

Is this true and can someone please cite the law?

I don't think it's specific to sheds; but in many places there are laws which define what is or is not an acceptable premises to live in.  Most sheds, among other things, do not have sufficient area or sanitary facilities.

i wouldn't doubt it.probably because there is only one way out.if there was a fire in the area of the doorway you would be screwed.

Many states, counties, cities have laws regarding what is a habitable structure and what is not.  Criteria may include: running water, ventilation, suitable for children(if children are involved), etc.

i have never heard of a law like this but it is a pretty cool shed i would live in a shed like that it is a cool shed
