I was told to never put my cellphone on my stomach because it can cause harm to the baby. Have you ever heard this?

I have heard lately that many Doctors are seeing an increase in cancers after being exposed to the radiation  through heavy cell phone usage.

never heard this before.. and the microwave thing is just a crazy. you're not supposed to stand close to it while it's on.. but you cook food in it and then put the food inside of your body? makes no sense

I havent heard that, but I have seen numerous times how cellphones to the ear alot can result in cancer. I really think its all a crock. I beleive that is an old wives tale.

I have heard of it but its not true, it won't harm anything. People say the same things about having laptops on your belly too, lol

I have never heard that. I have heard that when you start the microwave you are suppose to move away until it is done because the "waves" that a microwave produces can be harmful. I do not know if its true or not,but I always stand away when using a microwave and pregnant..lol

i don't think that is true. when i was pregnant with my daughter, i used to put my cell phone on my tummy so she could listen to the music on one of the games, and she would move around. and she is completely fine and normal.

I know when I was pregnant I didnt take any risk. I really woudnt bet my babys well being and health to something that "cound be" bad. I just would try to avoid all the things that could harm your baby. I do know that when my cell rings the tv starts to tick or even the radio ticks before the phone actually rings b/c of the waves. It cant be good for you. I know it gives you and me cancer so why wouldnt it hurt your baby? Take care and good luck!

No.  Thats a load a c**p.  All these non medical people come up with theorys on how having a lab top or cell phone on your belly or standing too close to the microwave will harm the baby.  It's not true. The things some people come up with are ridiculous and what is even more sad, all the people who believe it.

i dont know forsure but i do know that it can do some harm to kids  the radio wave can damage some kind of cells
