I have heard Kian for a boy - wasn't one of Westlife called that?  Never for a girl though.  It's quite cute.

A friend of mine called her daughter Kianna Key Anna, nearly the same apart from the a at the end! Very sweet name!!!

Not that name specifically but a friend of mine has a little girl named Keyana, pronounced the same as your cousin's but with an 'ah' at the end!  I think Kianne sounds very pretty.
