  1. No, but I've cooked food on the exhaust manifold of a locomotive engine.

  2. The point of grilling would be that 'special taste' and the low fat content, right?

if you use a jet engine what you are going to have instead is a KEROSINE SMELL. You may also have a few bugs lodged in the sauce. Depending on WHERE you put the meat, you may also have enough GREASE on it to stop you heart in a single bite.

    Sounds delicious!

  3. No I can truly say that I have never ever imagined that.

  4. Over- No. In the combustion chamber at 2,500 degrees C? Yup. Jet-A flavoring and well done in a second. That's Fast food.

  5. Well, I would not do it because that would be a bad waste of a good steak.

However, we used to heat up our MRE's in the exhaust of our MH-53 after we shut down. We hoped some of the JET-A fumes would saturate the bags to make them taste better.

Never happened though. Those things would never taste good no matter what we did to them. "Meals Rejected by Ethiopians." LOL!

Sigh... I miss the Air Force.

  6. No, I think a quality BBQ grill would be more fuel efficient and easier to get in the backyard or the picnic area.;)
