Have you ever lied to a telephone pollster because your viewpoint was not politically correct?

Lied?  No.  Got very insulting?  Yes.  Told them to mind their own business?  Most definitely.  Told them what to kiss and when?  Once or twice.

i HATE political correctness. It is for liars. I hang up on pollsters they are wasting my YA  time.

no one ever asked, but i wouldn't lie.  I'd probably be more racist than usual to get a reaction

No. But I've lied to pollsters who were asking me who I intended to vote for and I've lied to those who try to find out who I did vote for after I have left my polling place (the exit polls). In doing that I am just following the advice contained in one of the classic syndicated columns written by the late Mike Royko  back in 1988.

No.  I generally tell the truth, regardless of whether it's PC or not.

Every so often, though, I'll get called with a really stupid push poll.  I'll sometimes lie then, just to have some fun.

No. I lied because the pollsters viewpoint was biased. You can tell by the way they phrase a question. So if their polling method is c**p, I give them more c**p.

I tell them that I am a Regan Republican and the pollsters always say.. "Sorry you don't fit the requirements of our sampling"

Nope.  If a telephone pollster is calling me asking my opinion, I'm going to give my opinion.  If he was hoping I'd tell him what he wanted to hear he wouldn't be calling ME.

h**l no! Whatever my viewpoints are perceived to be by others, they're mine and I sure as h**l am not about to waiver because there's some minimum wage earning pollster on the phone.

Not exactly.  I hate those things so I try to give the worst possible answer I can.  Or I just say the opposite of what my real choices are.
