  1. When I was 12 my hamster escaped and we found him 2 WEEKS later living inside a wall. We got him out but he became really mean and died a couple weeks later. :-(

  2. I had one that was lost for a couple of days to a week and we eventually found her almost starved to death in a drawer not even close to her cage!

  3. my hamster once got out of its cage accidentally.she's only been gone for a few hours.

i think i can help you:

hamsters tend to hide in dark, warm, cozy places where they feel secure enough.hamsters, much like rabbits, are prey animals and as a result, they developed an instinct to hide quickly when out in the open.

i suggest you look under the fridge.my hamsters who got out once went under there.or you could look under hole in the house.remeber to remove all mouse traps and poisons.this will kill the hamster.

i hope you find your hamster soon enough.

p.s:don't let the cat in.  ;-D

  4. I had one once that was lost for a few days.  He was hiding out behind the fridge and finally came out to wander around one night.

  5. there was a little mouse in my house for about 2 weeks and when i found it, it was dead only skeleton was there it was really gross.

  6. yeah i lost my teddy bear hamster for like 3 or four days in a row and just about gave up until i was woken up at 2 in the morning.  I went into the kitchen to get a drink and heard a scratching sound!  We had to pry open the wall to rescue him-he was in the wall!  There's still hope for him, but he'll be hungry when you get him back!

  7. I had a gerbil, it escaped.  It crawled into a closet and got stuck under something like thirty pounds.  It took about a week.  It is possible, but it's easier to find it.  (That might be kind of hard...)  I hope it answers your question.  I know it isn't very good.  Two things, you can put out it's favorite food and see if it comes out.  If it's close to you (like mine) it may squeak until you find it.
