Have you ever met a MLB player somewhere other than the ballpark?

I never have, but I met Sid Bream's cousin one time at a mall in Atlanta. (for you young guys, he was key in their playoff runs in the early 1990's) She was older, and noticed I was wearing my Braves hat and struck up a conversation with me. Still was pretty cool.

  3. I met KEN GRIFFEY JR at a store once and he was Very nice I wish He could Have met my Grandma and I have met Adam Dunn and He is Very nice As well My mom was like OH MY GOODNESS

  6. yea i met maglio ordonez at a club in vegas. what a cheap m**o was mooching off us all night and smoked all my cigarettes. and  didn't offer to buy a round. what a loser!! couldn't even get his own girl he was trying to cb all of us.

    I have met Steve, Don Sutton, Yogi Berra, Tom Flores (Raider Coach), Merlin Olsen, Marcus Allen, when we play in the same Golf charity event every year.

    Once i met Darryl Strawberry when he went to pickup his pizza order at Pizza Hut, where I worked for a while.

  10. Tony Perez outside his home in Kentucky overlooking the Ohio River and Riverfront Stadium.  I was walking down to the waterfront towards the riverboat haunted house when I saw him going inside.  Just greeted him, shook his hand and thanked him for his contributions to baseball.

    Barry Bonds at my neighborhood (San Mateo/Foster City, CA) Starbucks after his orthopedic treatments, at work (EA Sports) when he frequently visited a co-worker of mine, at All Star Game festivities in San Francisco, in the club when invited to his All Star Game afterparty, inside the locker rooms at Candlestick Park and AT&T Park as well as at SF Giants Community Events I receive invitations to.

    Johnny Damon at the BART station when he skateboarded there before taking the train to Network Associates Coliseum as a member of the Oakland A's.  We chatted about when he was a KC Royal and how he enjoyed playing for the A's.

  11. I went to a hockey game this year, and suprisingly i met kameron Loe and David Murphy from the texas rangers, they were just there signing autographs, oh um Scott Schudder used to be my baseball coach, he played for the cincinatti reds, and was on the team when they won the world series

  12. ive met john mabry like at my lil sisters soccer game because his daughters played w/ my sis and i met andy benis once when i was playing basketball, he came over and told my mom she was doing a good job of coaching because his daughter was on the other team

  13. I met Luis Gonzalez and Curt Shelling! Both back when they played for the Diamondbacks! It was in Arizona I met Gonzalez at Toys R Us and I met Curt at my elementary school! He went to my elementary school which was Indian Bend Elementary School! It was so awesome!

  14. I went to St. Louis 2 summers ago on a Milwaukee Brewers trip when they played a 3 game set there. We stayed in the same hotel as the team, so we ran into alot of the players in the hotel bar and for breakfast the next morning. We met Derrick Turnbow, Bill Hall, Dave Bush, Matt Wise, Brady Clark, Kevin Mench, Fransisco Cordero, Ben Sheets, Ned Yost, Robin Yount, Mike Maddux, and Ronnie Belliard of the Cardinals. Also when I was working at McDonalds in high school up in the hicktown I grew up in, Jeromy Burnitz came in and ordered a hamburger from me and gave me his autograph. And I met Geoff Jenkins in a Einstein's Bagels too.

  16. my aunt's boss was an owner and a few times ive been to lunch with ozzie guillen but better yet the store my ma works for has cliental like Jim Thome and bobby jenks whom ive met while sitting there

  17. Back in about 1985 or so I literally bumbed into Dwight Evans in Harvard Square. He was cool about it. I didn't ask for an autograph, just shook his hand and wished him good luck the rest of the season.

  18. I met Houston Street at the bart station. He was walking like a normal person. I talked to him and he was very cool. I didn't wanna ask for his autograph because I didn't wanna seem annoying and rude.

  19. Sure. Met Billy Martin, Clete Boyer, Rickey Henderson and a whole lot of Oakland A's at a restaurant in Oakland in the early 1980s. I also met Yaz at a restaurant in Southern California after he hung up his spikes.
