Have you ever met anyone who will only drink flat soda? As in no carbonation?

My step-brother looooooves and i mean absolutly LOVES drinking flat soda, i have no idea why he said it tastes so much better without the "fizzy stuff", but i hate flat soda, it tastes really gross.

My sis-in-law ONLY drinks flat soda. The acid hurts her stomache. I think it's disgusting.

My best friend will only drink flat soda.  I think it is gross, but it doesn't bother me that she does it.  She has a lot of issues with the texture of foods, so I guess this particularity is part of that.

Carbonated drinks burn my mouth.  I rarely drink soda, but when I do I want it in a glass with ice so the carbonation will flatten out.  I would rather have coffee or iced tea.

my best friend only drinks flat soda.  when she buys soda, she'll shake it up so it gets most of the fizz out.  She says the carbonation hurts her stomach.

I can't stand flat soda though, its too sweet.  In reality, both ways have the same amount of sugar.  but i feel like the carbonation lessens the sweetness.  yeah.
