My town population 280, 000 people n I'm one of the lucky persons who met my mayor at the place where I was volunteering. Also at my school few people also met our mayor even some people live in the same neighbourhood as mayor lives. So have you ever met mayor of your town city?

I don't show up, I just want to know is it only our town or every town in ON or other places in Canada have such close relationships with government workers.

By the way, at my school was one girl who's parents are friends of Wayne Gretzky. She showed me his photo with her family and her.

  1. I'm in a small town. They call it a city, but I think that's pushing it. I met mine at the supermarket. I've seen her a few times since then.

  2. Yes I've met him - we have a commissioner not a mayor.   Anyone who wants to meet him just needs to go by the business he owns while he's there or go to a local fire dept.  event  because he is active helping them or just call his office and ask for an appointment.

Mayors etc are elected officials and should be very accessible to the public.   Even those who don't make an effort that way can be met by going to things like city council meetings or whatever your local area calls the required public meetings where city business is done.

  3. yes...the mayor of DC was in the carribean carry out and I saw him...i wanted to ask a lot of question but I didnt
