  1. Yes, it happened to me, and I was so scared.  But I think I made it worse on myself by letting it show so much.  Right now, don't worry too much about your old friends, because they cannot help you much.  At the new school, new friends will come in time, but you cannot reasonably expect that immediately.

Here are two things to do:

    1.  Do research on the internet about how to stand up to bullies.  Mostly they are insecure types who back down as soon as you stand up to them.  Just don't take their guff.  As hard as it is to do so, rise above, rise above, rise above.

    2.  Quietly look around while you are new, and YOU decide which other kids are the ones YOU will choose as your friends.  You will only be with them for a couple of years before everyone breaks up at the end of high school anyway and moves on to other things, so YOU be the one to decide which ones you will hang with.  Just hold back a little while and watch them in action.  See who has values you want to be associated with.

Remember that affiliations and friendships change around when one is a teenager -- it's part of the age, but that's OK.  Just keep your eyes open and see what's what.  Can you sign up for sports or other activities that are interesting?  Do you need certain things for college, like clubs?  You will find friends in those, so just be steady.

Good luck.  When this happened to me, I eventually made friends that are STILL my friends, and now I am 63 and live all the way across the country!

  2. i just moved from a public school in the US, where i had a ton of friends and i loved it there, to a g*y all boys school in canada.  i havent started but we have to wear a suit and i know it will suck.  i cant even play football, my favorite sport.  good luck, i hope you feel better!

  3. I have gone to Elementary School and Middle School. If kids are bullying you, you should maybe talk to the guidance counselor. Try making new friends by just saying "What's up?" Stop crying. Be strong.

  4. If you keep crying in front of everyone trust me no one will talk to you. All you have to do is relax in school. some alone time isn't so bad. You can take your i-pod and listen to music. Join a club or something. Eventually people will start talking to you and be friends with you.
