... how the ones who say the most "hurtful" type of things (sass back, act all tough, preach at you for the wrong that you have done, etc.) are always set onto privacy mode (here on Y!A)?

it makes me think they are just players who don't really have a backbone and need a different persona on a computer to feel safe...

  1. I will agree that the internet allows us to be the people we wish we were. Just look at Second Life. Its much easier to type unashamedly than to speak directly to someones face, so people really don't give it much thought.


  2. Yes, I do notice that. Maybe you're right. If one has an answer to give that won't be particularly welcomed by the asker, they should give it in love and kindness. Who needs the privacy setting unless they have something to hide anyway?  

  3. maybe so, maybe they're insecure about themselves so they take it out on everyone here.
