  1. LMAF!  Yeah, look at him, ever noticed how  cocky, crude, and rude he is?  Don't think  any company would  be that stupid.

hmm, wonder why any company would pay big bucks to have Junior endorse their product?  Hey!  Could it be he has Class?

  2. Thank God for small favors!  JK...  He is in several of the Nascar Sprint Cup race comercials...like the one in the movie theater...

  3. I'd change the channel if Kyle was in a commercial, lol.

  4. never saw one either... weird

  5. the only problem with your theory rb is that junior has 18 wins to buschs 7, so how do you figure he wins more races? junior also had more wins at this point in his career than busch has too, so don't even try saying it's only because junior has been around longer. the fact that junior has so many more commercial endorsements than the scrub does has nothing to do with busch turning them down because 'he's a racer' as you seem to be suggesting, if the opportunities were there, busch would be jumping all over them. junior gets tons of endorsements because companies know he will sell their products. he's a popular, likeable guy. he's what's known as a mans man. he's just a cool dude and that sells products. the scrub on the other hand comes across as a brash, cocky little prick who acts his shoe size instead of his age. he was oviously a bed wetter into his early teens. most companies won't touch him simply because he is not marketable.

sorry winter glory, but juniors rookie year was 2000, 2004 was his 5th year. at the end of his 5th year, he had 15 wins, not 9, check your stats. as far as him being older, so what? that just means he started racing later in life. junior didn't decide he wanted to be a race car driver until his late teens. here's an analogy for ya. if one person goes to college at age 18 and another decides to wait until they're say, 25, does that mean the person who went when they were younger is smarter than the person who waited? especially if the person who waited got better grades? of course not

    NP winter glory

  6. He has more haters then fans, so... that wouldn't be good for advertisement.  Plus, he has a face meant for radio...

  7. Sports people in general are like lawyers; if they need commercials(about themselves) it's a good bet they're no good.

  8. The only thing that matters to him is that he wins races.

    That's a good thing!!!!

  9. I think I've seen him in some car quest commercials back when he was with Hendrick's none right now though.

  10. I hadn't noticed before, but that's a great observation. He's not much of a people person from what it seems. If he did do commercials he would probably lock himself in his trailer and pout because his goat cheese salad wasn't good enough.

  11. Kyle Busch is a race car driver first and foremost.

Dale Junior is a merchandise seller first and foremost.

Therefore Dale Junior or someone like that will have more commercials, but Kyle Busch usually wins more races, but does not make as much money

  12. I haven't seen any either except for the ones mentioned that is a little strange but I bet he'll have some after the year he's had!!

rb...the sponsors are the ones that want them to do the commericals it's not Jr's idea it's in his contract!

  13. I think he just doesn't have the "camera" look about him.  Not too good for sales, maybe?

    Go jr>>>>

  14. that's ok, just as long as he keeps driving well!

    good noticing tho..

  15. Food Lion one with Denny Hamlin, Kasey Kahne and Matt Kenseth.  But the Carquest one is the only one I saw that had just him in it

.  I did think that part of the sponsorship contract included commercials to push the product but maybe that isn't the case for everyone.

  16. Just the one where the kids are controlling the toyota's via remote control, that's about it.

He did have a carquest one a couple years ago.

    touche' rb..

*excuse me Know it all-you say that Jr. had more wins by this point in his career than Kyle does now? Jr. had 9 wins by the end of his 5th season in a cup car, Kyle currently has 8 at the half way point of his 5th season, so you'd need to wait until the end of this season to make that assessment!

Also by the time Jr. was at this point in his cup career, he was 28 years old. At 23 years old, which is Kyle's age, Jr. hadn't even made it to the cup circuit. Kyle's had a cup ride since he was 20.*

edit: Know it all-Upon your request to take a closer look at the statistics, I throw in the white towel in defeat and humbly apologize.(tail between leg and all)

  17. yes, he had carquest commercials while he was with hms, he has the toyota fan controller commercial as you mentioned, and he is currently in the lifelock commercial with kahne and carpentier.  more importantly, he's in most of the "sprint cup" promotional commercials. if you remember before the all-star race, the two featured drivers with "speaking parts" at the end of the commercial were jimmie johnson and kyle busch.

  18. That's not weird - that's smart.  Have you seen the glasses he wears?  I laugh each week at him.  Like it's been said, he just doesn't have the face for TV.  Plus he needs to have a good, positive fan base.  Or maybe he's scared that he'll be stuck doing one commercial over and over (kinda like the "Casey Kane.. Casey Kane... one with the girls).  I know he's starting to get other commercials - like Budweiser, but you get the idea.

  19. Sports commercials are for stars that have a large fan base and a positive image. The idea is the fan base will buy the product because of the star's endorsement.

Advertising agencies conduct polls and focus groups to judge the number of fans and the positive or negative image the fans have of the sports star.

If a star's rating is negative you wont be seeing them in commercials.

  20. So... Alot of drivers do not have commercials. I am no Kyle fan but I would have to say with the heavy schedule he has and his youth and unpopularity right now he wouldn't be a good sell anyway. Some drivers have that marketability, he does not. Sorry Kyle fans.
