Have you ever noticed that nobody you know has won the lottery?

I bet you can't even trace it down from ten friends, acquaintances, neighbors using I know someone who knows someone who knows someone, etc. Doesn't anyone else find this a little peculiar?

  1. my granny won £1700 lol still not full jacpot but at least she won sumthing


  2. my mother won a split pot of 4 million and it came out to be 1.4 or so after taxes she invested most of it in a high yeild IRA

  6. That's because the chances of actually winning are like 1 in 100,000,000.  That is like 50 people in the U.S.  Do you know everyone?

  7. I do know someone who won the lotto.  They won a smaller of the big jackpots of $2 million.

  8. too many people and the statistics is that you won't even know anyone who's won anything substantial in your own town.
