  1. No, you just know some weirdos!!

  2. For anyone who is planning a wedding, looking to get engaged or is already married will most likely know what kind of dress the bride is wearing.

After a few months of wedding planning I was able to look at a dress and say, "Oh - that's designed by..."

  3. Absolutely. :D

  4. Right you are. Most women (not all) are detail oriented. Most men (not all) are not. Simple as that. Men see the whole picture quickly, but women see the details.

  5. Yes, but they won't know what car they're in!

  6. I don't fall into that category.  My guy says I'd be lucky to even notice the wedding party, although I would remember passing by a church.  I could tell you all about the architecture, but have no idea about her dress other than it was white (assuming I noticed it).  However, I can guarantee you that he could, with great detail, describe every bikini he saw at yesterday's fundraiser car wash (I wondered why my van was washed).  All the girls wore bikinis to attract more cars. I'm sure it worked.

  7. of CORSE ! I pass a bridal boutique on my way to work & even passing that i slow down just so i can admire the fancy dresses .  Being a woman- and passing a church while a wedding-party is gathered outside... is comparable to - if a guy were to be passing by a pre-season practice of a sports team. Simple facination even though the event taking place isnt significant to you personally.

    :p

Yes, I miss the good old days when the society page would go into great detail about the bride's gown, her veil, her flowers, how the church was decorated, what the mother of the bride wore, what the mother of the groom wore, etc.  I think there are some newspapers that still print these details, but they are mostly paid ads.

All women used to be little girls, and as little girls we dream of the perfect dress, the perfect veil, walking down the aisle to stand next to our knight, who has decided to wear a tux instead of shining armor that day, with sunlight streaming through the stained glass windows ....

We can't help it, we are very detail oriented -- it starts early.
