Is this "bad luck", or how would you explain it? I know some people where it's always "something". And then others haven't had an accident or been hurt a day in their life. I am not just talking about physical injuries, I also mean like things in life going wrong. Am I making sense here?

  1. You make perfect sense, and yes it has been my experience that there are people whose lives are a mess.  And when I look closely, I discover that these folks are instrumental in creating the messes.  It isn't just random consequence - it's almost always the result of choices that are pretty easy to identify.

  2. they are attracting the negative attention onto them selves, unfortunetly but if they can change there thoughts to a more positive lifestyle then there lives should be blessed with more good than bad

  3. It's a learned thing, some people come to feel that they have no say in their lives and they succumb to becoming the victim not knowing any better.  They come to believe that they are not important and many of the choices they make in their lives lead to problems.  If they came to realize that they are valuable beings, they would change their thinking and in turn their lifes would change tracks.  It wouldn't be an easy thing to change, but it would be a good thing.

  4. Yeah, my dad's like that - he's been hit in the head with a falling hammer (from a construction area); he almost bled to death after a tonsillectomy; he was in a near-fatal car accident (hit by a drunk driver - now has a plate and pins in his leg); he actually inhaled an acetylene torch when it was lit (seared his throat and he bled a lot, but that's all); he survived prostate cancer (his doctor says he's the only person whose cancer was that far advanced who still walks through the door for check ups)!  We tell him he only has so many lives left!
