Have you ever noticed that women surfers are not as good as men?

I know I'm gonna hear about this but really. Name 10 girl surfers who can REALLY shread. There's no doubt that there are some really good ones but most of the guys I see on the beach are better than the girl pros. Any ideas why?

I'd have to go through the dvd library but I feel there are way more than 10 who kill it. I'm not saying they can boost as high,maybe they can, I just never saw them do it. Perhaps, the difference has something to do with upper stregnth versus lower body strength. Judging someone's surfing ability is soooooooo open to interpetation. I think a fellow surfer judges you on how you free-surf, not contests. New school ...old school....jurassic school... What's your favorite surfers to watch ? Maybe women don't sure the SAME as men is that women have more sense.........All surf is good surf.

Look at the physical differences in men and women. You can see why guys are better at surfing it does take some strength.  But remember the women have every bit as much fun as the guys

i dont know on his one. i have both boys and girls surfers frind and the all seem really good. but one of my close friends is definatly reallly good and been to other countries for competion. maybe their bodies are built that way. but girls are better in other sports. but guys are better. cant argue

There are guys who are better but women can surf well too! I grew up surfing in Hawaii with Megen Abubo and that chick kicks ***!
