  1. I bought my cat and I am definately a slave. She gets very  annoyed if I feed the fish before I feed her..

  2. -_- I've only picked one of my current cats. Her name is Cassandra and I got her as a kitten before I was imancipated and lived with my Parents when I was like.. 3. She's 14 now.

Then came Antwonette. I used to be part of this program where we could foster pets, and I fancied Antwonette so much, we ended up keeping her! She's now 9.

With little Sophia she needed rehab from being mistreated and was presented to us by our (then) local Animal Shelter.

    ----POINT OF IMANCIPATION----

I was imancipated, so my parents told me to take the cats with me :P And I did. And became their SLAAAAVE.

Then came Alexandria, who was won in a court case against my neighbors for neglect.

And now, we have baby Genevieve, who came to us, in a box. :D

  3. Oh yeah. When my cat had her first litter of kittens I had my heart set on this pretty white one(I was six.Every six year old wants a white kitten!) but then Silver, the best gray tabby to walk this earth, chose me. Our bond was unbreakable, until the day he was fatally killed by a speeding car a few months ago. He still rests in my heart, though another little trouble-maker has come into my life.xD

  4. my kitten and i have a 50/50 relationship lol he is the sweetest mean cat alive. He only is demanding when i get home that he has to give me kisses and before i leave. like this morning  i was rushing to leave told him goodbye and he ran up the steps stopped at the door and meowed like he was yelling at me untill i picked him up gave him a hug and let him give me kisses. i feel like we picked eachother i held 4 other kittens 2 before him and 2 after him and i ended up with him and couldnt be happier.

  5. I feel that is more of an equal relationship, I am not his master, he is not mine... I just happen to be the one to put food on his plate, that's all.  It's more like a family relationship, we share the same house, the same bed, and the same air.

  6. At first, my kitten didn't really like my family.  I think that is because she was scared, and didn't like the environment.  Where she was living, there were two other cats, that she HATED!!!  That's probably why she was upset.  She hissed at everyone there, but me :)  So, it's good that she's my kitten.  I think I've had her for about...5 days now, and she has adapted really well!  She always comes running and meows at me if I don't pick her up or play with her.  I picked her, since she was the only female out of the litter, and I love her!!!

She does sometimes treat me like her servant though!

  7. I never pick my cat.  At the rescue group where I adopted Mo, I went for Ashton first and then I saw this sweet grey and white kitten who ran over to me.

She came home with me that day!

I also foster cats and kittens and I never get to choose them, but I always become their mommy.  They always love me- especially the shy ones!

I am not my cat's slave.  We love each other.  How could my cat make me do something???

  8. dont know cause i dont like cats

    i rather have a dog

  9. I AM my cats royal servant and enjoy it completely!

  10. I agree.  I went to my parent's house about 3 years ago (once my husband and I bought our own house).  They live in the country and have several "barn" cats.  Every spring they have new kittens and a lot of these kittens don't survive or stick around.  We wanted to rescue a cat.  My husband has always wanted a black cat and they had several.  I was standing by their house while my husband and dad were picking out the black cat.  A small calico came up to me and sat on my feet.  I picked her up and knew that she would be coming home with us.  She definitely picked me.  Her name was Sophie, but we always call her Princess Sophie, because she rules the house and we are slaves to her whims.  I wouldn't want it any other way, except sometimes I am not really happy when she decides that it is time for me to wake up at 4 a.m. and she licks my hair until I do wake up.

  11. Yes! true

  12. No, not really.  I chose all 4 of my cats.  However, I agree, I am their loyal servant now and enjoy it immensely.

  13. Yes, when I went to the shelter to get a kitten I wanted an orange one but this black and white one looked me in the eyes and it was like she picked me. I tried to ignore her and look for an orange one but I came home with that black and white one! That was 14 years ago, and I still have her she is getting up there in the years but she is doing fine and of course I love her very much and I guess I am probably her slave. :)

  14. yeah i noticed that. Im like my cats *****.

  15. ohhh, yeah i'm my cats servant!

  16. usually its a mutual decision.  Mine because I choose to take in a cat and theirs because they decided I was their person.  In exchange for feeding and caring for them they keep an eye on me and entertain me!

  17. I picked my cat actually
