Have you ever picked off of or taken "samples" from something you were baking for other people?

sometimes when i bake cookies for my brother i do that. what they don't know can't hurt :)

Of course!  I have to make sure I am giving them an edible product!  :)

Plus, what if they came out crummy, wouldn't you want to know first!

Of course. I do it when other people are cooking, too. Whoever it may be. What they don't know, you know...

I always sample and " make sure the food  is safe" when I bake and cook, regardless of whether it is for me or others.
