Have you ever procrastinated on your spring cleaning that you finally got it done on the first day of summer?

I finally rented a steam cleaner today to do my carpets. I just kept putting it off and now it is the first full day of summer. How many other spring cleaning procrastinators are there out there?

I don't spring or fall clean, but try to stay on top of things all through the year. As for the carpet, I've been known to have that cleaned at Christmas time if I am expecting out of town company.

I keep trying to procrastinate but my retiree keps pointing out to me what I could clean.   So if I'm nagged about it then I guess I'm a procrastinator.

I need a job,...

or someone needs to go in a home.

Spring and summer are always the busy seasons here.  Things will and do get cleaned, but just before winter I do a very intensive once-over as things are shut down pretty much for the winter months.

LOL, i have been doing my spring cleaning since Monday.  took a couple days off mid-week, had plans today, but haven't happened yet, so another day off.  probably only one day left.  oh, i'm going at a leisurely pace, obviously.

Do the regular stuff, but the deep spring cleaning. One day I'll get to it.....

Spring Cleaning is an old fashioned term when people had coal and wood fires which made lots of dirt.  They cleaned everything thoroughly in the spring.  Nowadays we don't need to do it in the spring we just need to do it when it needs it.  I always spread so called 'Spring Cleaning' jobs throughout the year and it is much more manageable.  As long as these extra jobs get done it doesn't really matter when you do them.
