Covers actually play a good role.What would you think of Cypress Hill's debut album if it was pink and orange?

I used to do that back in the day when I could spend all of my pocket money solely for entertainment purposes.I picked up a handful of albums simply because of their cover(but of course they were also in the section of my music of preference)but without having heard the slightest note by them.

Some of those experiments worked,some didn't.Nowadays though I live by myself and I have to worry about food,bills and such-I can't do that anymore.

But if I love the music and want to buy the album,the cover won't stop me.

Nas' new album illustrates a black man with scars on his back from being whipped continuously. The scars form an "N" which stands for ******* which he wanted to name his album. It's deep and when I bought it, I wasn't dissapointed. Album of 08' so far.

No. Cuz chances are, I've already heard some songs off the album, so I know what to expect, regardless of what's on the cover.

No if you like the artist then go ahead and buy the album dont just turn down the ablum because of the cover I actually personally have never looked at album and judged it by its cover.
