Even if it was something as small as a pen. This past Wednesday I was told I was being laid off on Friday (today) and I was thinking about taking my stapler with me.Yeah, yeah, it's wrong, but after 3 years I've grown pretty attached to it :p What do you think?

  1. People often take small items.  One man ordered a book he wanted with company funds, kept it in his own office rather than making it available for everyone, then took it home when he retired.

I took some pens and erasers and a company manual I had written, but there were several other copies for others to use.

Everyone used the company xerox machine for personal copies; however, when I had a large volume of personal copying to do, I took it elsewhere and paid for it.

  2. a stapler? well we all have our reasons, but i dont think your company would force a law suit on you for taking a 3 dollar stapler. i take things from the class romom alot, just dont make a big deal about it. just pack it up with evrything else and get out
