Have you ever reached your bike's "Top Speed"?

I'm not sure how fast my bike will go, but it's faster than 170...

that's as much testicular fortitude as i have to open her up to.

have you ever maxed out your bike? and at what speed?

36 mph. The hill was too steep to pedal any faster.

The speedo was universal uncalibrated, and I was running 27" wheels. That made it read a little low.

i had my '99 Harley Night Train up to just over 100, but she had plenty left.

My old bike was a '75 Suzuki Gt750, had that up to around 90 i think(speedo was way off) and it felt like that was about all she had.

My bike goes about 25mph... and I get there all the time.  Of course, the only engine is me :)

Nope, never found out on my current ride.

When I was younger, when I found the top speed of my bike, it meant it was time for a bigger engine or some serious modifications.

As I get older, I find speed isn't everything.  I would rather just enjoy the ride.

yes, i've opened up a couple of them in the past.  the top speed on my electra glide is classified, and if I posted it here, it would just make all you sport bike guys go out and throw rocks at your bikes.

Absolutely; 102 'honest to GOD' miles per hour going downhill with a tailwind using a buddies van for a windbreak. I would have been happy to see a 100 MPH. On a levl roadway I might see 90 MPH if the Gods are favouring me.

132.065 in9.998 sec at new england dragway,slick and extended swingarm,otherwise i dont ride like a douche, two more killed in hartford on sunday(friends hit each other at around 160 they think)tied me up in traffic for 6 hours thank goodness for overtime

if i had that new killer 10 speed i could get er up to like 20-25mph.. but its pritty scary.. if u pick ur head up at those speeds it could rip ur hands right off the bars.

heck yes, i rock an 81 kz550 ltd and the spedo goes to 85, but i  went well beyond that. all i know is i left a twin tubro buysa in the dust.  must of been doing 210 mph or so.
