Have you ever read "Prey" or "Next" by Michael Crichton?

I have read Prey I thought it was a great book. I tried to read "Next" but too much facts for me!

Yeah.. I've read them both.. 'Prey' is one of the best novels i've ever read.. 'Next' was different. It looked like more of a detailed information on genetics and sounded like a warning or something.. I can't say i didn't like Next but prey was great..

I've read all of Michael Crichton's novels. I liked Prey better than I liked Next. The problem with Next (and I do think it's a novel very much worth reading) is that it's the least linear of all of Crichton's novels. He usually has very focused, fast-moving plots. Next was very fragmented. Crichton tried to touch on so many different aspects of genetics that it was a little all over the place. Currently, I'm creating a Next trivia section for the Michael Crichton area of my website.

I'm looking forward to Crichton's new book, as yet untitled, which will be released Dec. 2.
