Yes, when I was a little kid.  I was out on a boat with my older cousin in some South Carolina marshes and the bottle floated up with a little message inside giving the address and other contact information. He responded to it though, so I don't know what came of it.  Sorry I didn't have a more exciting answer!

No but I sent a message in an egg (plastic one taped up) and some one found it and responded.. was kinda cool, I threw it in a river going over a bridge on vacation in Washington when i was like 10 (the Columbia maybe) any who, like 4 months later I got a letter from a girl who was fishing with her family and found it....

  14. yes actually when i was over at fiji i was on the beach and found one half buried in the sand i opened it and it said please return to jared and still today i dont know where it came from or who jared is but it was pretty exiting finding it though

  19. No, but I did once receive a message in a balloon.

    It read something like this "Dear God, please take care of my dog [insert name here]. I love him so much. Please take care of him."

    It landed in my back yard and was written in a children's handwriting. Broke my heart. Was so sweet.
