  1. Personally, I've never refused an invitation to a pub even when I had something better to do.It would be an insult to whomever invited me. If they think enough of me to ask me along, I will not be selfish and refuse. It would be a crushing blow to them. I will sacrifice myself for the benefit of mankind.Throw myself on the sacrificial fire.Forget my own needs. And,occasionally, pay for my own drinks!

  2. Ive done that and like you then sat there on me todd watching tv feeling sorry for meself coz everyones gone out but me even tho its my fault im the only one not out.

    Sad

  3. Never...are you insane?? LOL

  4. ok not the pub, but yeah i've turned down drinking when i had nothing better to do..

Just because at the time I had JUST gotten over the hangover from last night, and I decided to use good judgment because I felt like **** that morning, couldn't eat anything and just gross feeling.

  5. Yes, definitely!  and it's better to miss one night and be able to come out strong again tomorrow!

  6. I've done this before too; it's ok. Going out isn't fun if you're hung over. You should probably give tonight a rest so you can have fun tomorrow! Otherwise, you'll just keep feeling crappy.

  7. Yeah I've done it a few times but I find ways to entertain myself. And just think they will spend their friday nursing a hangover so you get to point and laugh at them.

  8. I don't think I have. Even if I'm broke, I can at least scrap together enough cash for a pint.

You could have gone and not had that much to drink -- of course that never happens.

  9. they are drink and having fun!

    dont wait up.

    go out tomorrow ITS FRIDAY!!!

  10. i always refuse invites to pubs, because any drinking at all

makes me deathly ill. when i turn down an invitation, i make

a point of finding something to do so i am not put in the

position of waiting around for them to get back to me.

  11. i hate drinking nowadays - cant handle it. so i would have done the same.... i feel very unsociable the past while..... been to busy I guess.
