Have you ever resigned from a job after working only 1 day?

If so, what was the reason you quit?

i should of because the boss went from nice into control freak mode in 2 seconds flat. i also got told i would get fired if i did not push credit cards applications. if i was smart i would of postponed my first day to take another interview and i know i would of been hired elsewhere....

We had a lady who resigned after ONE hour ! Actually she came in the first day to start at 11:00 am, went for lunch and never came back! She later called for her paycheck. Although she said she had worked in a dentists office before as the supervisor for a 5 doctor group,her reason for quitting us was that the phones were too busy ringing all the time.

It was actually two days, but I was very tempted to quit after the first day. I got hired as a cashier but once I got there they stuck me in stock. Furthermore, they were so unorganized! They weren't even aware of who was working for them. I didn't get a punch card till the second shift and they would just give me shifts on the spot like after my first shift they were like come in tomorrow at 1 (when I fully said I can't start till 4 because I have school). It was horrible! They payed well and gave long shifts but I just couldn't take it.

yeah... i worked at JC Penny's for one day... their expectations of me was waaaaay too much and my boss was a total tight ***... he thought i stole money... but i clearly showed him on the video i didnt... jackass... so yeah... i quit...
