Have you ever run a marathon?

Have you run more than one? Which was your favorite? Would you ever do it again?

I have run 6 marathons, one a year from 2001 to 2006. It's been about a year and half now and I'm trying to get excited about the sport again. All inspiration is welcome!

No but I'm training for one, it's pretty hard!

I loved the Detroit Free Press International Marathon.  You go to run in TWO countries and you run one full mile underwater in the tunnel.

5 since 2004, most exciting for me was the 8th Annual Air Force Marathon.  This one I would most definitely like to do again as of 2008 they took out the long hill at mile 23.  Up to 2007 it was all on Wright-Patterson AFB, this year they will include part of the town. I'm from the Mid-West  so I've done 3 in Iowa, the Twin Cities and of course the Air Force.  This year  I'll will try 2 again Omaha and Las Vegas.   Running the marathons after spending so much time training for them is very rewarding.  Some day an Ultra-marathon
