Have you ever sailed or rowed a boat?

I once sailed around Wales many moons ago.

I have my RYA Certificates 1 and 2, but husband is a bit frightened of sailing since he is really a non-swimmer.

I now have a small narrow boat - had a fun trip from Limehouse Locks right up the River Thames as far as Walton on Thames, under Tower Bridge and past places like the Houses of Parliament and the Tower of London.  Plus have taken her from Bristol to London and Lichfield to Reading, among other places, like the Welsh canals and up the Bridgewater canal to Manchester.

Used to go rowing in St. Ives harbour with friends when on holiday there in my teens.

Yes, in my teens I was crew on an ex-ocean racer believe it or not!  I wasn't always old you know!!!

I remember the boat well.  She was called Mystery II of Meon and was based in Hamble, Isle of Wight.  I often wonder what happened to her!

She was 32 feet long and had a beam of 8 feet.  I even remember the name of her owner but it would be indiscreet to put that on here.

I used to row in a crew of 4 at college. We had a good laugh most of the time unless we had a teacher called Mr.(Captain) Hook! Did a sponsored row up the Thames one Sunday. Managed 17 miles.

Yes I have sailed a Nicholson 55' across to Cherborg and back in a force nine gale in December. That was challenging

in my teenage years,I used to go canoeing and rowing,and used to do part time jobs at weekends to pay for it,but now My dream has come true,to live on A Dutch barge,and then I will be able to visit all these place's and more

I rowed a canoe once in Poole, Dorset and i went off course and headed straight into an on-coming yacht. I had a good swim afterwards mind - although the girl behind me didnt really enjoy it....
