  1. Yes, I've always been a "loner".  I was so much younger than my siblings growing up that I often learned to amuse myself.  It has carried over through the years and it's been a timeless friend on many occasions.


  2. Yes, whenever I can find it.  It's hard for me to find complete solitude, so it's a bit surreal when it finally comes along.  But, I embrace every moment of it - no matter how short the instance ends up being.

  3. I get it everyday!  I have my domesticated animals to keep me company when I need it!  

  4. Yes, out of time and into the immortal existence that we all are. If meditation is right, and if the nervous system is pure enough, it can happen at will.

  5. i am very much enjoying this time off i have, however i am also becoming a lot stir crazy.  although my life is on hold at the moment i wish it would speed up so that i can really enjoy living my life to the fullest as i was meant to do!♥

  6. Yes; sometimes I just get lost inside my own mind, i live alone and love it. lots of people think I'm lonely but honestly i'm not.

  7. Someone once wrote "I've never met a companion so companionable as solitute".

    Don't get me wrong, my friends and family are the best but there is something very harmonic about being in my own little world to pursue my own thoughts and aspirations in my own time.

  9. No - never got enough time to go so far.

    I have always wondered how i would feel if i was in jail - just the solitude part...

    i do think i would like to retire and live in solitude at old age

    however i will certainly need - internet - books and knowledge from them.

  10. ya every time i go to the top of a  rock in my city (i mean its a pilgrimage center with loads of visitors) solitude isnt being alone is it

    . i guess u can its feeling that u r the only one thats alive in the earth even if u r in the middle of a crowd.

    iv felt that so many times n i kno its like slipping the surly bonds of earth n time

    solitude has its own magic....I don't accept the idea of sharing my life with somebody else...my life is mine from A to Z.

  12. Yes i have indeed savoured freedom of solitude,but the loneliness is a big price to pay.

  13. Yes, especially on those days when I don't have anything in particular to do and I go to the beach or the park or some other place where I'm not surrounded/bombarded by a lot of modern technology.

  14. I wouldn't go that far, but temporary solitude can seem like a wonderful escape sometimes.
