Have you ever seen THE EVIL EYE GALAXY ?

It`s said that they hve sent spaceships to conquer Earth. It`s 17 million light years away near M64. Nasa sid it has spaceships capable of traveling 1 light year a minute. How long till we should worry? 33 years?

Just one flaw in this - 1 light year per min ? well thats faster than the Enterprise D at full Warp 10.55 (about 1174 times the speed of light) and still it would take them 14,000 some odd years to get there lol

If NASA had ships (even unmanned probes) that could travel at the rate mentioned in the post - why use telescopes ? we could shoot a probe to some of the stars 25 light years away in a few min and get answers that day :D

Trying to be funny? M64 is the Black Eye Galaxy in the constellation of Coma Berenices, but a nickname for it is the Evil Eye Galaxy. It is called thus because of the band of dust obscuring part of the stars from our view.

By the way, your maths is correct. 17 million light years at one ly/minute is slightly more than 32 years.
