that is absolutely utterly disgusting and the same action needs to be taken towards it as their whaling obsession yeah it was mildly entertaining but mostly the bugs werent fighting they were just trying to escape so its messed up your right it is cruel and i watched more than i could stand to see if it was ok but that is not on and should not be recorded or televised people should do it privately and it should be illegal i find it much more "exciting"as you have said just to watch these kind of matchups in nature not the way it is on this j*p bug fights c**p in nature u can turn a blind eye and just sort of say oh well but not with them j*p bug fights

EDIT: by the way im all for comp fighting but this is insane and not in a good way and what has it got to do with martial arts anyway

It's kind of done for fun most of the time or majority of the time in some places in Japan. But what does this have to do with spiders?

There are special ways to train these spiders by the way. If you don't train them properly, there's some times a chance of them running back at you. It first starts by letting them walk forward on a stick, and whoever makes them fall off wins. They use a specific spider for this too. Because some spiders kills each other but this spider instinctively decides who's the toughest on their own by getting them off the stick.
