Have you ever seen a UFO??

I was skeptic about this particular subject but I recently had an experience that has made me re-evaluate my standing....

My family and I were having a bonfire and it was about 11:30 P.M. One of us at the bonfire looked up and started pointing at the sky, kind of freaking out but not in a crazy way. The rest of us turned and all saw the same thing. Something with three green lights was hovering. There was no noise and the lights were blinking in recession, not at the same time. It was there long enough for all 7 of us to see it then it just sort of disappeared, didn't fly or move away. It was like it shot straight up and was gone. We all talked about it for a while after it happened to confirm we all saw the same thing.

I realize some people are going to think this is crazy but I have never seen anything like it and for a few hours I was really upset by this....do any of you have a similar story or theory as to if it could have been something else?

Humans are really silly creatures and when scared or faced with the unknown they tend to use imagination, and logic goes flying out the window. Its not just some people its most if not all.

For example, lights on aircraft are used to tell other aircraft what direction they are traveling visually. That means a pilot looking out the window needs this information. The lights are red on one side and green on the other.

So instead of assuming that it was an optical allusion caused by aircraft; the instant conclusion was the most logical. Space aliens of an advanced race flew millions of miles at light speed (taking 10k years to get here) blinked their navigation lights at you and headed home.

A few months ago Lockheed martin was testing F-16 out in the dessert. It was done at night and not public knowledge until the lights hit the news. The next thing you know, people from all over the US where heading to Springtown Texas to look at the aliens flying at night. It was a few days later when Lockheed said it was them. People where going nuts about this and it was on the news everyday until the logical space aliens visiting story ended up just being F-16s.

A planes light will also disappear in a flash when it turns. From a distance a barrel roll can look like a blinking light in a formation. Add a few jets and you have a complete alien invasion.

FYI - they did catch bigfoot, its on yahoo news.

Oh ya, sure ive seen a UFO. The aliens took me to jupiter and we had a nice talk and tea. We went to the future in a time mechine and on december 21, 2012 nope nothings gonna happen

i've never seen a flying saucer. but i have seen things with flashing lights that don't look like any plane's lights i've seen, and they fly faster and more nimble and quieter than any plane i've seen. but they don't upset me much because i don't really keep up on aviation technology so who am i to say if it's too advanced for us or whatever?  i like that UFO documentary/interview that Dan Akroyd did though.

I didnt believe in that stuff at first then one night my boyfriend went to pick me up and we where driving around and all of a sudden i saw this round dark thing that looked like a flying saucer hovering above some trees, i couldnt believe what my eyes where seeing i was in shock i tried to talk but couldnt then when i told my boyfriend about he just laughed about it saying that i was seeing stuff.

i was not dreaming i know wut i saw and its scary.

Yep, just last night I was getting into my car outside around 10:00 pm. I looked up at the sky and saw this bright shining star moving across the sky. I knew whatever it was it had to be flying because it was moving across the sky. But was I able to identify it? NOOOOO. I guess that qualifies it as a bona fide     U F O !!

I once saw what appeared to be a strobe light very high in the sky like a star that flashed briefly once every 20 seconds or so. I was at a star party which is a group of people with telescopes in a dark, usually remote location looking at the sky. We got a telescope pointed at it. It looked like a dim star that flashed bright every 20 seconds. It didn't move, except that the telescope clock drive tracking the stars as they rose and set tracked this light too, so it was stationary in space and not relative to Earth. It just stopped flashing and faded away after a few minutes. A satellite would have moved. A geostationary satellite would not have stayed in the telescope’s field of view with the clock drive running. We never figured out what it was.
