We see lots of stories about bridezillas who freak out during the planning phases of their weddings, or maybe even on the day of the wedding. But have you ever seen a bride go completely psycho DURING the ceremony?

Share the gory details, please!

  1. I've been at a wedding where there was cause. However the bride and groom were both wonderfully gracious people, and so they just kept smiling. The photographer stepped in during the ceremony to have them pose - twice. If you want to see a bride go psycho during the wedding you're welcome to come to mine and see if some idiot guests decide to take pictures during the wedding, or the photographer doesn't hide well. I don't have the patience to smile at people being that rude.

  2. Yes!  I had a client who as when was walking down the aisle stop dead in her tracks and flip out because her shoes were bothering her feet!  She walked back to the end and slammed the door.

I had told her 4" heels would be hard to walk in and not that comfortable, especially since she wasn't a heels kind of girl.

We thankfully took them off and I had a back up pair waiting.  She then walked back down and got married.

She alter flipped at the reception because she changed her mind and wanted chicken but they desicded 2 weeks before on no chicken so the kitchen staff had to make her a whole new dinner!

  3. No. I've been to a ton of weddings and never see this happen. I've only ever seen one bridezilla and she was fairly tame.

  4. I have worked with a few brides who were difficult right up to walking down the aisle, and even more so after saying "I Do", but I've never seen one act up during the ceremony. Now I have been at 2 weddings where the minister's "if anyone knows why these two should not be wed" has been answered by irritants from the audience, and even once from the bride. I also worked a wedding where I spent most of the afternoon at the church telling people there would be no wedding while my partner was at the reception hall doing the same. Of course, the couple married about six months later at the courthouse.
