  1. Sorry, don't have a story of my own.I love these stories too. I really like the stories about ghosts helping people. I think that's because when I was a kid I watched a TV show about it.I really liked it.

  2. Okay, scout's honor, I'm not weird. But my experiences are. I've four unexplained experiences with the "paranormal". The first happened when I was about 5 years old. My family was sitting in our living room and I had gone to my room to take a nap like my mother told me, I very vividly remember this siutation because it scared me so badly. My closet doors were open and I was sitting up in my bed. All of a sudden, the baby gate started to shake a bit violently. I was paralyzed with fear and did not quite know what to do. Then, here's the kicker, as a child and even into adulthood my nickname has always been Ally, well from that corner of the closet the baby gate stopped shaking and I heard a raspy female voice call my name, twice. I was so scared that I ran to the living room to tell my mother, but she blew it off as my imagination.

My second ghostly encounter came when I was about seven years old. Mind you, we still lived at the same house where I had the name calling experience. Once again, I had famil visiting and my Aunt and Uncle had taken my room. It was right around Christmas time, so my father had a fires going in the fireplace all night to keep the living room where my cousin and I were sleeping warm. She was asleep beside me, but I remember feeling very uneasy and I wasn't able to sleep. In an attempt to drift off I lay down and hung my hand over the side of the pull out sofa. All of the sudden it was as if another hand was holding mine. I was so surprised that I started to jerk my hand away, but the phantom hand held on. I could feel the finger nails and long thin fingers of a woman. In about ten seconds, I could no longer feel the hand and I squeaked and ran to my parents. Yet again my parents denied it as a figment of my imagination. But to this day, I remember how shocked and scared I was.

My third experience with the paranormal came at age 12. My Aunt was getting remarried and s owe traveled to her house so that my mother could stay with her the night before her wedding. Now my Aunt lives in a 113 year old house that she and her ex-husband renovated out of dilapidation. They managed to keep many of the original features in the house including the attic and the stairs that stood in the attic when it was originally built. At the time, my Aunt and her fiance were tearing out the plaster and putting up dry wall. So while I was there, I was made to sleep in the guest room/play room. From the wall renovation, there was about a two foot gap where the dry wall had not been put up at the top. This allowed me to have a view into the attic space, a very clear view of the attic stairs. At about midnight I was still awake and I noticed a sudden light. I looked up and the attic light had come on. Through the space I could see that there was no one on the stairs and then I began to hear heavy footfalls on the attic stairs, all the while not seeing anyone. I called out for my aunt and mother and they both came running from the beds to see why I was yelling. There was no one in the attic that night and the light went off right about the time that they both hit the guestroom door.

My fourth experience with the paranormal is ongoing right now. My husband and I have just moved into a house with our cousins-in-law. In our bedroom there is often a strange oppressive, heavy feeling which is magnified after dark. Just a couple of morning's ago I walked into the bedroom to find our closet door wide open after I had made expressedly sure to close it firmly. The door k**b does not turn easily and it takes quite and effort to open, and no one in the household claims to have opened it. I also over the past few days have caught was sounds like voices and I can never figure out where they are coming from. Yesterday was my most fightening experience. My ears began ringing all of the sudden and then it was as if the barometric pressure had suddenly dropped and I felt as if my left ear drum were going to burst the pain then moved down into my head, neck and shoulders and then passed throught to the right side and then was quite suddenly gone. I was shocked and scared and hurting. I do not believe this entity to be a friendly one. So yeah...those are my experiences with the paranormal/ghost world. I guess I'm just sensitive to it.

  3. Actually you can see stories right now on the Discovery channel, This show called "A Haunting" is a show that has all these ghost stories and shows what happened and stuff. A true Spook.

  4. Once i was sitting on the floor in my room with my back to the closed door andmy cat was freaking out behind me and when i turned around there was a black shape on my door and i couldnt move for what felt like hours as it faded away. when it was gone i looked at my clock and no time had passed. it was SOO weird. And Ive seen a lady by my window crying many many times. Shes the previous owners wife who lost her baby which is why she hangs out in my room, And when i was a baby (i dont remember this) my mom said that shed come up into my room and id be looking at something she couldnt see and reaching out to it. and when i got old enough to talk i used to say it was my other mother and i used to talk to her every night. And once when i was babysitting this little boy he kept looking at the ceiling and when i went up to the attic the toy train was on. i turned it off. but that kept happening for an hour. and whenever im in a graveyard i feel like there are people around me sometimes i even feel them.

  5. no i havent but if you go to a site called paranormalbabies.com you'll see alot in there and they are pretty scary

  6. I was in the garage with no lights on and in the middle of the afternoon. It was not completely dark , just some light filtering in through the bottoms of the garage doors. I was looking for something (don't remember now what it was)and as I was standing there looking one of the garage door handles started to twist back and forth violently. I thought at first that a spring in the handle was loose but as I stood there watching it I could see the springs were in tact. So I cautiously walked up to the handle and watched it as it was still twisting and out of curiosity I took my hand and was going to touch it to see if it would stop twisting and just as I was about to touch it , it completely stopped the violent twisting. I know it was a paranormal event but I don't know what kind. Maybe a poltergiest. I wasn't scared by it just sort of amazed.True story.

at my old house there was an old lady who would sit outside in the garden under the orange tree and hum...she wore gardening gloves a lot....

    but yeah

  8. When I was about fourteen, after the passing of my beloved grandmother, I was laying in my bed trying to get to sleep when, suddently, I became immobilized and unable to talk.  What looked like the moonlight reflecting off water was on my entire door and I heard my grandmother (or something) calling my first name.  This lasted maybe ten seconds.  When it stopped, I ran into my mother's room and told her what happened.  She did not believe me.

Another occasion, I was coming home from high school. I usually got home before everyone else.  I went directly into the basement because I needed to wash something in the washer.  I heard my name being called.  I thought it was my mother so I told her I was downstairs and continued what I was doing.  My name kept being called and I repeatedly yelled I was downstairs.  I went upstairs and was asking, "You didn't hear me?"  No one was there.  I ran down to my friend's house.

  9. I have never experienced anything that I would describe as paranormal.

  10. Mine isn't quite as long lol.

A few years back I was staying at my grandparents house. I was asleep in one of the guest beds when I felt someone pushing down on my chest. I opened my eyes and there was a pair of red eyes staring back into mine. It seemed surprised that I woke up and jumped back and sort of dissolved into the air.

[Details] It was totally bald, as far as I could tell. It's skin was very hard to make out. It was almost like it was composed of the dark, but I could make out a definite shape and when it jumped back it had to duck so that it wasn't looking around in the attic. (I'm assuming that you got that is was bent over staring at me.)

Hope you like you like it, it's 100% true.

  11. i had 2 im not afraid 2 share

    1. i was 10 and i was watching tv at about 2am then i felt my shirt flick up i turned and noone was there..

ever since i was 12 i thought i could sense ghostly presences

once while at my dead uncles house i felt so weird and tense then i went upstairs and in his room one of the curtains looked like someone was in it so i pushed them and the curtains went back to  normal no window was open and no breeze was in the house

i currently think my house has a ghost now too because istood in the mirror and looked in a different direction and out of the corner of my eye the reflection was still staring at me

  12. I just moved into a new apartment a few months ago.  Last week, I saw a soft white light next to my dog and I thought I saw a young boy standing there, 10-12 years old.  It was gone in a blink of the eye. My dog just walked up to me very calmly, and I don't know why, I felt this intense feeling, it was weird.

Last night, I couldn't sleep at all, I kept waking up and having flashes of dreams. The last time I awoke, I thought I felt something touch me quite firmly on the shoulder, as if to wake me, but nothing was there. I said that I wanted to be left alone and I finally was able to sleep.

Maybe I have an over active imagination, because I've never believed in these things before, but things have happened at the old apartment too.
