I saw my guardian angel when I was 5. I didn't know it at the time. I only told someone after I was 18. I told my dad, who never lived with us because my parents were divorced. He said he was visiting that day and he saw her too. It was a lady in a rocking chair. The chair wasn't ours and she was all white.

He ran and got a picture and asked me if that was her. IT WAS. She was my great-grandmother Amerylis. She was watching over me and I believe she is my guardian angel.

My husband and I have seen apparitions of a a few of our beloved pets that have passed.

I've been touched by and spoken to by a ghost at my sister's house (a very old house in Maplewood, NJ).  It was kinda scary at first, but then I just told her that she is welcome to sit with me and stay with me, but to please don't do anything that scares me, and then she stopped moving things and the cold air would just sit quitely next to me.

The spirits of my parents come to me quite often, and I have spoken to them many times.  My young daughter has seen them, too.  She used to be afraid but now she talks to them.

I think these spirits come to my family because we are very open to the idea.  I believe that they only want acknowledgement, so that's why they do things like move things, or flicker lights and such.  Once I acknowledge their presence, all is fine.
